Estaz is great stuff for all kinds of flies (it makes great cat toys too). Use it in place of chenille to add extra flash. Wrap heads with it. Trim it to shape. Works equally well in fresh and saltwater.
Estaz Grande has longer fibers than the standard material. It is a better choice for larger, bulkier flies and also works better if you plan to trim the Estaz to shape.
