One of the best materials avaliable for tying imitations of baitfish, shrimp, crabs, crayfish etc. If it swims you can probably immitate it with the right mix of EP Fiber and a little flash. Takes marker well so you can add all the barring you want, and does not absorb water.
Use less material than you think you need and, if tying hi-ties, to tie the material in in the middle with half facing forward and then fold the forward facing portion back and tie it down. Once you have a large "hairball" used curved scissors to shape it and taperizers, if needed, to taper out the back of the body.
